what we learn from this ...Ken has never truly been "rewarded " by society for his work. We have pathetic types all been knighted and given OBE/MBE's etc . Yet Ken has never been made a "sir" etc etc And he should be .

This is great to get to know about, Mark Knopfler is a truly great, honorable, kind and caring man, the great things he did for other people he received back in love, those people who have received will always be most grateful to Mark and other great and good musicians who have supported this great cause, they will also remember with love also the medical staff and carers also their own families. It is far better thing to go than squander of your money on a false and unreal high life, Helping others in need is the best reward, it is what Jesus did and teaches us to do,
